This was a unique retrofit project. The existing home had 5 gas fired furnaces and a massive boiler system for the pool. We converted the home heating and cooling to a geothermal/boiler hybrid with heat recovery ventilators for fresh air. We converted the indoor pool to a solar thermal/boiler hybrid with a high efficient dehumidifier. Dehumidifiers remove heat from the air dropping out the moisture, this dehumidifier dumps that heat into the pool raising the efficiency beyond that of a standard dehumidifier.
